3 medals for U of A athletes at CIS national championships in Toronto
/Eitc sent 4 athletes representing the University of Alberta to CIS nationals in Toronto, March 10-12th and came away with 2 silver and 1 bronze medal.
In her return to CIS competent after a 2 year hiatus, Paige Ridout jumped her second best height indoors ever to claim 2nd place on Friday night, while freshman Meghan Lim earned a respectable 7th place and an indoor personal best.
On the mens side, Spencer Allen earned a silver medal while Nathan Filipek took home the bronze. Although both would have like to jump higher heights, they are pleased to come away with hardware to finish the season.
