EITC Club Athletes Compete at Alberta High School Provincials

Alberta High School Provincials were held June 1-2, 2018, in Red Deer, Alberta. Four of our high school club athletes competed in pole vault. 

Hana Stewart won the Senior Girls competition with a vault of 3.15m. Mikayla Schepens captured the silver medal with a new personal best of 2.60m. For the Junior Girls, Taliah Kornelsen vaulted to a new personal best of 2.40 for second place. Well done girls! 

Derek Parker jumped 3.35m to place third in the Intermediate Boys competition. About 10 minutes later Derek ran a gutsy 800m.
