2022 Summer Wrap-up

With one of the best years in club history behind us, we would like to celebrate all the achievements by the athletes!

In August, Rachel Hyink followed up her bronze medal performance at National Championships with another bronze at the North American/Central American Championships in The Bahamas. She was selected to the team after a massive personal best performance this year of 4.40m!

Also at the National Championships in Langley this year, Paige Cocks and Deryk Theodore both came home with silver medals, while Megahn Lim tied with Rachel Hyink for the Bronze on the Women’s side. Tekoa Kornelsen also achieved a silver medal in the men’s U20 category! An amazing weekend by the whole team, with many other great performances.

EITC was represented well at both High School Provincials in June, collecting 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 bronze medals in Medicine Hat (with several personal bests) and jumping very well later in July at Club Provincials in Calgary, sweeping many age categories!
